Hi, I'm Tricia Johnson BSL tutor

I am qualified BSL NVQ level 3 and have recently completed BSL Level 6 BSL training. I have been teaching since 2001 for the local Adult Education provider in West Sussex, I have also taught BSL at Chichester College, along with running my own private courses and tuition. During this time I have taught Introduction to BSL, Level 1 and Level 2 Signature qualification courses. I ran a Communication Club in West Sussex for 6 years, where I led level 1 and 2 homework groups, practise sessions, signed karaoke and organised Deaf and Hard of Hearing events. I have worked as a Communication Support Worker (CSW) for Northbrook College Worthing, Chichester College Chichester and Aspire Sussex Ltd. (formally West Sussex County Council Adult and Community Education). I have also worked in a BSL Personal Support role on a regular basis for the Independent Living Association.
I have over 10 years experience teaching Adults with Learning Difficulties. Working both in education and local care homes.

I currently teach private BSL courses and provide support and practise on an individual basis.
I also offer corporate Deaf Awareness training.
