Adele Seager

  • Sign language teacher
  • Qualified Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People

I studied Educational Studies (Hearing impairment) at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating in 2015 with BA (Hons) incl. BSL Level 6 (Language). Then spent the summer working as a Communication Support Worker (CSW) at a local mainstream primary school with a resource base. I loved working in education and gained my primary PCGE in 2016. Then putting my skills together I worked fulltime as a Teacher of the Deaf until I had my son in 2021.

I am Based in Southampton/ New Forest and now teach adult BSL Level 1 courses but I am always keen to jump back into a Teacher of the Deaf role or teaching BSL in school classrooms.
